On the 22nd of January, 2018 I was Sandra Gordon’s guest on her radio program, R.I.S.E Women [Which she usually hosts with Lynn Mareno] on Ujima radio, Bristol.
We talked about what it meant to be a black woman in academia, Africa’s place in the world, law and decolonisation, and she even allowed me to read some of my poetry. We talked about my article Questioning the ‘Aid to Africa’ Structure. I read my poetry pieces, Black Women & the Promised Land and An African’s Lament.
